Revamping legacy modules and increase engagement

Project Overview

Users didn't know they had the ability to track the availability of a single asset. We needed to modernize the interface to increase engagement.

Problem

How might we migrate legacy modules to adopt a standard visual language?

Previous Designs

The previous design had some clear points of improvement regarding the outdated visual style, responsiveness and usability. The hireacrchy of information made it difficult for a user to quickly understand how many assets are available.

Design is non-responsive Mobile view is not finger friendly
UI is outdated
Inconsistancy in labels making Hover overs and keys difficult to understand

Competitive analysis

I researched different rental and asset managment softwares to understand what the standard was for this type of functionality. I didn't find any interface that represented that availabilty of one asset.
